Founder of the Oodua People’s Congress, Frederick Fasehun, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to sack all military officers currently in charge of the Boko Haram campaign.

Fasehun asked the President to mandate the military to end Boko Haram insurgency within a period of six months.

He said Boko Haram’s continued attacks invalidates Buhari’s 2015 campaign promise to end the insurgency.

While demanding the release of Leah Sharibu and the Chibok girls, he described their continual captivity as a disgrace to democracy.

The OPC leader charged the Federal Government to recognise and declare the Fulani herdsmen a terrorist organisation and make them pay for their crimes.
