CLARENCE FOUNTAIN DIES

Popular gospel group “Blind Boys of Alabama” leader, Clarence Fountain, died in Baton Rouge on Sunday at the age of 88.

The cause of death has not been revealed, according to a statement by the Blind Boys of Alabama on the group’s website.

Clarence Fountain before his demise won 5 Grammy’s and received the Recording Academy’s lifetime achievement award as the co-founder and leader of the group.

As part of their numerous “Accolades”, they have performed for three Presidents in the White House namely Bill Clinton, George W Bush and Barrack Obama.
