In a complete turnaround, Trump has stated that he would hold a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on June 12 in Singapore.
Eight days after putting the summit on hold, Trump has had a sudden change of heart and has welcomed North Korea’s former intelligence chief to the White House Oval Office.
Trump said he expects a “very positive result” with North Korea but it could take several meetings after Singapore to reach an agreement.
However, he did mention that North Korea’s commitment to denuclearization was still very active.
