#METOOMOVEMENT: WOMAN WHO BROUGHT DOWN BILL COSBY FORGIVES HIM

Andrea Constand, who officially broke her silence on the Bill Cosby case after the conviction, while speaking in an interview with NBC that aired on “Dateline” on June 1, 2018, said she is at peace, as she has forgiven Cosby for what he did to her. She also said that if she doesn’t forgive Bill Cosby she would not have peace.

Based on Constand’s belief, she is a part of the #METOOMOVEMENT against sexual assault. She said she is proud of how everything has unfolded especially in the past year because now they will teach people about consent, and hold people accountable. She also expressed her pride in being part of the movement to Snow Kate the host of the show.

The program, named “Bringing Down Bill Cosby”, it involved other women who testified in April during the Cosby trial, claiming he had also sexually assaulted them.

When the Jury forewoman read the verdict on all 3 charges against Cosby and it read “guilty”, Constand revealed that she was just overcome; she denied what Cosby’s lawyers tried to make the world believe that she was a con-artist pursuing Mr. Cosby for his money.

Earlier in 2006, Constand got $3.38 million from Cosby for the settlement of her civil case against him.

Constand while speaking to Kate Snow agreed to the fact that her story to the police and prosecutors might have changed since filing her civil case against Bill in 2005, but one thing she claims never changed were the details of the assault at Cosby’s house.

80-year-old Cosby was convicted on 3 charges of aggravated assault against Constand. The “American Grand Dad is to be sentenced in September.
