The Forcados terminal faces more than two weeks delay in oil cargo loadings following the disruption of oil flow on the Trans-Forcados pipeline feeding the facility.

Following this development, official loading schedules for June and July are yet to be released according to sources in the oil industry.

Although the flow of crude oil into the terminal allegedly resumed last week Wednesday, loading delays still continue to accumulate.

A tentative schedule plan has been prepared, but it is doubtful that the new dates will be adhered to and delays could linger longer than expected.

The Trans-Forcados pipeline, which ships between 200,000 to 240,000 barrels per day (BPD) of crude to the Forcados terminal was shut down about two weeks ago to fix minor leak issues. At the time of the shutdown, it was projected that it would only take at least a week to repair the leaks.
