A Rivers State High Court has declared the All Progressives Congress ward, Local Government and the State congresses null and void.
In a ruling, this morning, Justice C Nwogu described as contemptuous the action of the APC which defied the court by holding the same congresses barred by the court on a later date.
The justice said the party’s attitude was targetted at arm-twisting the judiciary.
The said election was held on the 19th, 20th and 21st of this month.
Incidentally, Rivers is one of the states where the APC held parallel congresses
