Nigeria's team poses before the African Nations Championship

The Russia 2018 World Cup-bound Super Eagles will meet with President Muhammadu Buhari this morning before the Federal Executive Council meeting at the Presidential Villa.

The meeting, which was initially scheduled for yesterday (Tuesday) is meant to give the president the opportunity of boosting the players’ morale as they leave Nigeria later today for a Saturday friendly with England at Wembley.

The team is scheduled to leave London for the Avita Resort in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, in Austria where the players are expected to spend 8 days in training before proceeding to Russia.

As part of the Austria camp experience, the Super Eagles will face the Czech Republic next Wednesday at the Rudolf Tonn Stadium.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr has expressed worry over the team’s fullback position, calling it a major headache as Tyronne Ebuehi’s injury in the game against Congo DR seems to have slimmed down his options.
