Danny Boyle, the award-winning director, will direct the next James Bond film with actor Daniel Craig. Work on the new flick is scheduled to begin in December at UK’s Pinewood Studios. Tentatively, the film will be released from 25 October 2019.
The production heads Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli refer to Boyle as “exceptionally talented”.
The Oscar-winning director who is known for the heart-warming drama “Trainspotting” and “Steve Jobs” worked with Craig in 2012 on a short film for the opening ceremony of the London Olympics.
The James Bond film will be scripted by John Hodge who worked with Danny Boyle on “Trainspotting”.
