E-Money, CEO of Five Star music and popular music promoter, has had 10 of his luxury cars impounded by the Federal Operations Unit, Zone A, Nigeria customs for underpayment of duty on the vehicles.
Officers of the Apapa customs command allegedly cleared the vehicles but acting on a tip-off about the value of duty paid on them, the cars were intercepted by the FOU.
E-money visited the command in order to retrieve the cars himself, according to a source at FOU who confirmed the seizure to a media outlet. He also confirmed that the record label owner paid over 6 million Naira for the vehicles before they were released to him.
