Just last week, a lot of youths across the continent were motivated by the news of Davido buying a private jet worth 9 Billion Naira and being the youngest Nigerian to own a jet; and just yesterday, those motivational standards vanished like smoke after the rain.
This comes as a Nigerian media outlet has called out Davido alleging that stories of him buying a private jet are far from the truth.
The media outlet, The Capital revealed that Davido has admitted on air, that he has “Fractional Ownership “and his money in the financial commitment is minimal compared to the major financiers who agreed to make it look like Davido is the real owner of the Jet. He said it was a business scheme to give the “Assurance” crooner prominence in the showbiz industry, in order to attract lucrative deals from multinational businesses, foreign entities and countries.
According to the media outlet, their source also revealed that there is a sharing formula agreed with Davido when the deals start coming in, the guys at the vanguard of the jet ownership narrative agreed that the jet on arrival will be made available to Davido and other viable people in need of it.
The Capital claims to have information on quite a number of Nigerians who have been reported to be jet owners, but are on this membership plan.
