Americas Top Model host Tyra Banks and her mom, Carolyn London, have re-created famous mother-daughter pictures, and trust us when we say this: They nailed it!
The duo who recently wrote a book ‘Perfect Is Boring’ were featured in a recent edition of PAPER Magazine. They recreated pictures of Superstar Beyonce and her designer mom, Tina Knowles, to Lisa Bonet and Zoe Kravitz, to Tracee Ellis Ross and her mother Diana Ross.
Tyra and Carolyn in their shoot mastered the looks of each of this powerful woman, who they emulate in honor of this year’s Mother’s day. In the photo of them as Queen Bey and her Mother Tina, Tyra mastered the look of Bey, by wearing high thigh boots and a dress that looked like she was about to hit the stage, while Carolyn rocked a black attire that matched Long Locke’s that Tina is usually seen in.
Tyra in her interview acknowledged the fact that she wouldn’t have been where she is today without her mother’s “tell-it-like-it-is advice”.
Their book together is currently in stores and reveals all the lessons that Tyra has acquired from her mother over the years, such as beauty, booty, and being a boss.
