The prominent South African opposition figure, Julius Malema, has accused White South Africans of refusing to come down from their high-horse of racial superiority, after nearly a quarter-century of the abolition of Apartheid.
Malema, a parliamentarian, and commander-in-chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has, therefore, vowed to continue the battle against White privilege in South Africa.
According to him, many White people harbour hatred for citizens who come out to speak on this issue and also create unnecessary fear in the Country. But he insists this will not discourage his group from speaking out.
A former ANC youth leader, who left the ruling party to form an opposition group, told journalists at a breakfast event at Braamfontein, that the South African system has continued to run on double standards fueled by racial differences, and skewed unjustifiably in favour of the Whites.
He further explained White people don’t seem to take him and his group seriously, and that this has gone on to give White people a sense of superiority, even with regards to basic things such as livelihood choices.
