Members of the National Executive Committee demand the Resignation of Oshiomole
APC National Chairman, Oshiomole

Immediate past governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomole, says he will not allow anybody to use him for selfish interests if he emerges as chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Oshiomole, noted this when he publicly declared his intention to run for the chairmanship of the party yesterday.

While applauding the contributions of the current chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the former labour leader pledged that he would rebrand the party by fostering a grassroots-based membership.

He further accused former President Goodluck Jonathan of destroying the membership register of the party by ordering security agents to invade the APC’s facility in Lagos during the collation of the register in 2014.

Meanwhile, Imo Governor Rochas Okorocha, who was unofficially invited to the function, while expressing great faith in Oshiomhole’s leadership quality charged him to bring equity to the party when he emerges.

The party will be holding its national convention, where new national officers are to be elected, on June 2.
