Oshodi, the otherwise notorious bus terminus of Lagos, is no doubt, wearing a new look.
The long-anticipated make-over project going on in the area is about to be completed, going by assurances given by state governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
The aim of the project, according to the governor, is to ease the livelihood of Lagosians with regard to commuting. He said Oshodi was a central part of Lagos State and there was almost no aspect of the state that wasn’t accessible through the Oshodi bus terminal.
Considering how there used to be a shortage of transportation channels in that area of the State, most of the residents welcomed the development with open arm. The interchange is poised host 18 lifts, six for each of the three terminals equipped with CCTV; one for intercity transportation, another leading to the island and the final one for the BRT Scheme.
