YEMEN POISED TO OVERCOME CHOLERA

Medical practitioners in Yemen are better prepared for what seems to be an annual outbreak of Cholera in the Country.

With over half of the country’s health facility no longer in operable conditions as reported by the World Health Organization. It seemed a herculean task for the Yemen Medical experts to contain the disease in the last two years as over a million people were struck with the disease in what seemed to be the worst Cholera outbreak in the world.

Plans, however, are in progress this year to approach the epidemic from a preventive point of view from experience it appears control strategies to curb the disease.
