Pastor Enoch Adeboye of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, has added his voice to the call by world’s political and religious leaders to end the killings in Nigeria.
Adeboye, who preached at this weekend’s Holy Ghost Congress of the church, warned that the country could disintegrate if the government does not arrest the mindless killings soon.
According to him, if the situation continues to degenerate, Nigeria would have no need for elections in 2019, as the country may have ceased to exist.
He further admonished all Nigerians to join him in saying a prayer for Nigeria, to stop the bloodshed.
The cleric also called on the President Muhammadu Buhari administration to urgently end the killings before a religious war unfolds.
Adeboye is the spiritual father of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. The VP is still a pastor of the RCCG.
