Smooth Promotions, organizers of the Headies Award, have made slight corrections to the list of nominees for this year’s award.
In a statement released today, the organizers confirmed they would be making corrections to some nominations which were made in error.
For instance, Cobhams produced the song, “Virtuous Woman”, and not Masterkraft, while Selebobo produced “Rara”, and not Tekno.
Also, Nonso Amadi’s song, “Tonight”, has been crossed out from The Best R&B Single and “Best Vocal Performance” due to the fact that it was released before the period under review.
In accordance to the corrections made in the Best Producer category, “Yawa” and “Augment” are the tracks for which Masterkraft is nominated while Cobhams is nominated for “butterflies” and “Virtuous Woman”.
