On Monday, Fidelity Bank has announced a 94% growth in profit for the 2017 fiscal year. The Nigerian Stock Exchange released the year audit results showing impressive growth rates in all the key indices.

The CEO showed immense excitement and further disclosed that the celebrated result was due to consistent discipline in managing financial documents, strategic cost reductions and the heightened focus on commercial, corporate and SME sectors of the economy, combined with the bank’s digital strategy.

The numbers don’t lie as a combination of the strong net revenue of9.9% of N7.7 billion and 2.3% cut in total expenses translated to a cost saving of N1.5 billion
