On Wednesday the 25th of April 2018, the Lagos State Government revealed that it is ready for the prosecution of Peter Nielsen, the Danish national charged with the murder of late singer, Alizee and their four-year-old daughter on Banana Island on the 5th of April 2018. Mr. Adeniji Kazeem, Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice disclosed in a statement that forensic investigation carried out on the case revealed compelling and overwhelming evidence that points to the suspect – Peter Nielsen as the killer of his wife and daughter.
The Attorney General also disclosed that based on new evidence obtained, the suspect is guilty of murder, he also divulged that the suspect would be prosecuted at the Lagos State High Court for the crime.
The trial is expected to commence at the Lagos State High Court as soon as the case is assigned to a Judge.
