The Federal High Court, Abuja has temporarily stopped the sale of 9-mobile telecommunications, formerly known as Etisalat, due to aggravations by major shareholders – Afdin Ventures Limited and Dirbia Nigeria Limited.
The reason for the altercation is due to shareholder resentments for being left out of key decision-making at the Company. The sum of their investment is about 1.56 billion. This is after they had initially filed a lawsuit against the company.
Justice Binta Nyako declared that the company retains its status quo as at 16/04/2018 in favour of 9-mobile telecommunications.
The case has been adjourned to May 14.
