The combined team of military and Department of State Services officials have neutralized 4 Boko Haram terrorists belonging to the Abubakar Shekau faction and arrested 5 suspects in Borno and Gombe states.
In addition, a certain Adamu Hassan, suspected of making Improvised Explosive Devices for the terrorists has been arrested on the Bauchi-Gombe road during a stop and search operation.
Col. Onyema Nwachukwu, Deputy Director, Public Relations officer of the Theatre Command has stated that following a tip-off, the terrorists who were on a search for food in the Bama area were arrested.
Colonel Onyema further revealed that bags of grain, tamarind and two motorcycles were recovered by the troops while the suspects were taken into custody.
