State Commandant of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Gombe says 25 suspects have been arrested and 122.78kg of banned drugs have been seized by the agency since January.
The Commandant , Aliyu Adole, said 20 of the suspects have been convicted and sentenced to various prison terms, while five are still in custody.
Adole also asked parents to encourage their children to shun drug abuse.
